The Aloë Vera plant is no stranger to the homes of Curaçao. Many of us have the plant in our garden and use it for beauty and healing purposes. There is one place on Curaçao where you can learn all about it…
The development of the Aloë Vera Plantation started back in December 1999. Today, the plantation covers at least 10 acres! After the aloë plant has finished growing for 2 years, it is ready to be harvested. This is done manually by the workers of the plantation. The harvest consists of collecting 6 to 8 leaves from the bottom of each plant.
Everyone can pay a visit to the plantation and discover what the process is like. The plantation itself is known for their all-natural Aloë products. How cool is it to see how a product is developed from beginning to end? Learn about all of the plant’s benefits and you can use it up to its full potential!
